Marija Tiurina is a multidisciplinary artist with backgrounds in painting, illustration and digital art. She has worked as a video games concept artist and a children's books illustrator, while juggling a range of out-of-office commissions and personal projects including illustrating for advertising, editorials and corporate clients. Marija was one of our original customers at Soho Bikes. Her studio was next to the back of the shop, and we'd look forward to her knock on the workshop door wanting to come in for a coffee. Or bike repairs… how to put this, Marija's bike was very "individual". Mariusz was able to keep it rolling using a combination of skills, hope and magic. She's very kindly donated this signed A5 print of "The Forager of Itoshima". We thought this was a suitable image as the Forager is on a bike, smoking something, wearing a hat, long hair, socks pulled up, organised chaos surrounding them… basically Mariusz!
