The E-Lyte 140 Works is our lightest ever electric mountain bike (eMTB): at 16.4kg complete (size M) with 55Nm of torque, together with 600W of peak power, it perfectly blends lightweight cross country (XC)/trail bike performance with the capability of full-fat eMTBs to deliver an unparalleled and uncompromised ride, wherever the trail leads you: the singletrack, the all-day epic, the home trail hot laps, the descents and the climbs back out – and with a total combined battery capacity of 650Wh, it has the range to do it all.

We've not taken any shortcuts when it comes to assembling the finest trail-proven parts possible for the E-Lyte 140 Works. Nothing that has been put on that compromises performance just to save a few grammes to grab a headline: SRAM's top-shelf XX SL T-Type AXS 1x12 delivers flawless wireless electronic gearing; Fox Float Factory suspension units deliver the ultimate in suspension performance; SRAM Level Ultimate Stealth four-pot hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors for rich, useable power; full-width 800mm wide RaceFace NEXT R bars for maximum control; a full 175mm drop KS Lev Ci post for real-world trail drop; and more.

Beautifully light, reassuringly strong
The beating heart of the E-Lyte 140 Works is an all-new, lightweight yet strong carbon fibre chassis that carefully packages Bosch's light and powerful Performance Line SX mid-torque (55Nm), full power (600W) motor – and the 400Wh internal battery – seamlessly so you can fly under the radar as stealthily as you'll fly down the trails. We've also carefully positioned the Bosch PowerMore range extender as low in the frame as possible to optimise the bike's centre of gravity and deliver an exceptional handling bike, however you want to ride – with the range extender for longer rides out in the hills, or without for lapping your local trails.
Your bike, your way
We’ve engineered the E-Lyte 140 Works to give you the option to set it up and ride it as you want. Want more battery? The E-Lyte 140 Works comes with Bosch’s 250Wh PowerMore range extender – that mounts in the lower bottle boss position. Want to run a bottle, or even two? The frame has two bottle positions: a lower for a full 750ml bottle (using the included bottle cage adaptor), and a higher Fidlock position for a smaller 400ml bottle (on sizes M-XL) – even with the PowerMore in place. Or you can use the Fidlock mounts for tool or tube mounting (all sizes). Want to slacken the geometry out? The ‘Shape.it Link V2’ geometry adjustment lets you change between the stock high to its low setting for a lower, slacker geometry for more downhill grins. Want to pedal further? Keep it in its higher, more all-day ride-friendly position.
Engineered for the best – and worst – conditions
We’ve designed, tested and proven every E-Lyte in our native UK, riding all year round through the best and the worst weathers, and have added a whole host of touches that will keep you riding sweeter and for longer. Things such as: a fully weather-sealed seat-clamp gaiter, and sealed cable and hose ports to keep the water out; positioning the charge port at the base and to the front of the seat tube out of the firing line of the rear wheel spray; clearance for up to 2.5in tyres between the seat and chainstays to prevent mud and gunk slowing you down; Phosphate-coated and marine grease packed pivot bearings to maximise pivot bearing service life; as well as frame protection on the lower downtube and chainstay to keep the frame in great shape, and much more.
